Open Drum Circle August 2006

This year has been fantastic for the Grafton Drum Circle! We are up and dancing all night to high energy grooves, moving to the beat of our collective circle! Let's do it again this month and ramp it up with rhythm, dance and jamming fun! Come and let loose while we connect with each other through the rhythm of drumming, chanting, dance or whatever anyone brings! Caution: there may be some ecstatic moments mixed with some meditative moments! Our drum circle can bring it all out! All are welcome regardless of experience and we have some extra drums and percussion instruments!

So come join us each second Saturday of the month, in Fellowship Hall of the UU Meetinghouse in Grafton for the Grafton Drum Circle. Join us as we celebrate the rhythm of our lives, touching the instinctual heartbeat in each other and ourselves. Everyone is welcome to come and participate in the joy of community synergy through rhythm.

Circle starts at 7:00 pm at the UU Society's Meeting House, 3 Grafton Common, Grafton, MA.

July 4 (Note - this is the FIRST Saturday of the month and this circle will be held outdoors at 221 Brigham Hill Rd, North Grafton. We'll be drumming and dancing around a fire! And this will be combined with a potluck Fourth of July Celebration! Come early and celebrate - stay late and drum!)
August 8 (Note - this circle will be held outdoors at 221 Brigham Hill Rd, North Grafton. We'll be drumming and dancing around a fire! In case of rain we'll be at our usual location at the UU Meeting House in the center of Grafton.)

We have a Yahoo Group set up as our mailing list. We send out a reminder for our circle about one week ahead of time, and use it to let you know of any changes. Occasionally we need to switch from the second Saturday to a different one. To sign up, click the button to the left!

Unitarian Universalist Society of Grafton & Upton - 3 Grafton Common

Take the Mass Pike to exit 11 (Millbury). After the tolls, turn right onto Route 122-South.
Follow 122-South past Stop and Shop and past where 140 and 122 join together.
You will soon come to a light where 122 veers off to the right and 140 continues straight through the light. Stay on 140-South.
Go up to the top of the long hill -- you are now on Grafton Common -- and turn left at the barrel in the middle of the road. Find a place to park.
The church is right there. (There are two churches on the common - the UU church is to the right of a few small shops. The other church doesn't have any other buildings next to it)
